The activities of the company within this general brief are many and varied, but fall into the following broad categories:

• Survey of ambient noise and vibration, for Planning Applications and Appeals;
• Design of residential, school, commercial and industrial buildings, to protect against noise sources inside and outside, in accordance with Building Regulations, Building Bulletins and other relevant guidance;
• Measurement of sound insulation, in accordance with the Building Regulations Approved Document E;
• Acoustic evaluation of proposed building and services designs and specification of appropriate noise control measures;
• Investigation of noise nuisance and specification of remedial measures;
• Work place noise assessment for compliance with Noise at Work Regulations, or as evidence for hearing damage claims;
• Expert Witnesses in cases involving noise and vibration .
